GOOD NAME is a design and manufacturing practice run by Christopher Towers. Based in Athens, Greece, the studio conducts both independent and commissioned work.

With a strong focus on craftmanship, the material led practice looks to form objects that are driven by material manipulation, taking influence from both traditional craft making, and high-tech industrial methods of production.  

The studio output hinges around a firm objective to be self sufficient. Production and manufacturing are done in-house. In this way design and manufacture merge to become one process and feed into each other allowing for innovative ways of working. 

Tactility and human experience are key to the work with a focus on joints, junctions, and interaction between the materials and their end user.
